How does my Brave and Able Breathing Buddy work?
Guided light teaches kids how to calmly take control of their breathing and regain focus. Simply press the stomach on your Breathing Buddy and allow your own breathing to follow and mimic the guided light in your Brave and Able Breathing Buddy. Notice as your breathing calms and your busy mind refocuses. With a clearer mind you can more easily work through your big feelings.
Do I need an app or wifi to operate my Brave and Able Breathing Buddy?
Brave and Able Breathing Buddies offer slow, deep breathing guidance without the need for an app or a smartphone. Brave and Able Breathing Buddies are fully portable and do not require wifi. Operation requires 2 x AAA batteries (not included). The guided light will automatically turn off after 5 minutes. Access the light component via the zip at the side of your Brave and Able Breathing Buddy's stomach.
What are Brave and Able Breathing Buddies made of?
Brave and Able Breathing Buddies are made of beautifully soft fabrics in a variety of textures, to add an additional sensory element for kids to hold to help them regain focus while they practise slowing their breathing and work through their big feelings. Brave and Able Breathing Buddies are filled with all new polyester fill.
Can I wash my Breathing Buddy?
The internal light component is fully removable to allow surface cleaning. Because Brave and Able Breathing Buddies are made of a variety of beautifully soft and textured fabrics, and each of these fabrics have different properties, it is recommended that you surface clean only with cold water and mild detergent, then air dry, to ensure longevity. Please remember to remove the light component first!
