NDIS FUNDING

Did you know you may be able to use your NDIS funding to purchase a Brave and Able Breathing Buddy if you are self-managed or plan-managed? 

Please check with your support coordinator or plan manager before ordering to see if Brave and Able would be a beneficial therapy tool for you or your child.

For SELF-MANAGED customers, there are two options:

1. Pay upfront and seek reimbursement, with your order shipping immediately:

You can purchase a Breathing Buddy from the website and pay upfront using our various payment options, then submit your tax invoice/receipt in your order confirmation email to NDIS yourself for reimbursement. As we receive payment upfront, we ship your Breathing Buddy out immediately.

2. Draw down funds first using a pay later option, with order shipped once funds transferred to us: 

• Add your selected Breathing Buddy or Buddy Pack to cart and proceed to checkout.
• At checkout, enter customer details including the participant’s full name and NDIS number in the 'order notes' section.
• Select NDIS SELF-MANAGED payment method at checkout. This is a pay later option, allowing you to draw down first.
• Please check you have included the participant’s full name and NDIS number in the 'order notes' section.
• You will receive an order confirmation email which will include a PDF tax invoice. Please ensure you check your spam/junk inbox if you do not receive this confirmation email after placing your order. You can then submit this tax invoice to draw down your funds first.
• Once you have received the funds, you pay us directly. The invoice you received with your order confirmation email will include our bank account details for payment. Please email us at hello@braveandable.com.au to confirm your payment has been made, including your name and order/invoice number. Please contact us if you are unsure how to make payment.
• As soon as payment is received, we will ship your order to the address you entered when you placed your order.

For PLAN-MANAGED customers, your plan manager or third-party agency pays us directly for your order.

• Add your selected Breathing Buddy or Buddy Pack to cart and proceed to checkout.
• At checkout, enter customer details including the participant’s full name and NDIS number in the 'order notes' section.
• Select NDIS PLAN-MANAGED payment method at checkout. This will allow you to complete checkout without making payment.
• Please check you have included the participant’s full name and NDIS number in the 'order notes' section.
• You will receive an order confirmation email which will include your tax invoice and will include our payment details. Please ensure you check your spam/junk inbox if you do not receive this confirmation email after placing your order. You then need to forward this tax invoice to your plan manager or third-party agent for them to make payment to us.
• As soon as payment is received, we will ship your order to the address you entered when you placed your order.

For NDIS-MANAGED customers

We are not currently a registered NDIS provider.
